Welcome to our new Booking Page on Syresham Village Hall's website!

We've given our booking system a fresh new look to make it even easier for you. Now, you can check real-time availability with our sleek, redesigned Calendar - it's always up-to-date! The booking instructions are on a separate page in the 'hamburger' menu above.

After selecting a day, simply fill out our easy-to-use online form to submit your booking request. Just follow the simple instructions. 

Whether you're planning a private event like a party or a public one like yoga classes, you can choose to have your event displayed on the Calendar for everyone to see and even promote it on social media.

Once you submit your request, our friendly Booking Clerk will receive it, and you'll see your selected date marked as pending on the Calendar, so others know it's reserved.
The Booking Clerk will review your request and, if everything looks good, approve it right away. Once approved, your event will appear as a solid colour on the Calendar.
If there are any issues, don't worry. You'll be contacted to discuss options, and you can always reach out to the Booking Clerk for a friendly explanation of the process.

We're really excited about this new system! Soon, you'll also be able to pay online directly, making everything even more convenient, all in one place.

Facilities at Syresham Village Hall

We offer a range of facilities suitable for a wide variety of leisure and community activities.
We offer a flexible pricing scheme for all our customers. You will receive a quotation via email, or you can call us to discuss your needs.

Registered users have access to all their booking information and can easily make repeat bookings and manage their accounts.

NB. Please note that the facility capacities shown are approximate and depend on the event.

Booking Request Form Notes ...


  • Minimum Age: You must be 21 years or older to make a booking.
  • Deposit:  We may ask for a deposit in order to secure a booking.
  • Payment:  Invoices will be sent by email a few days before your event, so payment can be made before, upfront.
  • Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations made within five days of an event will be charged at 50% of the agreed rate.
  • Minimum Hire Period:  No room may be booked for less than 1 hour.
  • 18 – 21st Birthday Parties:  We are unable to take bookings for 18th to 21st Birthday parties.
  • Up to £500 deposit may be requested, (see ‘Conditions of Hire for more details)

Main Hall

This spacious hall features a kitchen/bar at one end and a stage area at the other, with a beautiful oak sprung floor and a licence for music and dancing. It includes EtherCon points, free Wi-Fi, a full sound and projection system with hearing loop, and double-door access from the foyer, Meeting Room and Kitchen. The hall offers 100 upholstered chairs, tables stored in the rear store Room, and side doors opening onto a patio with garden furniture and views across the fields.

Tables and Chairs
  • 100 upholstered folding chairs are available in the main hall.
  • 12 x rectangular tables, each seating 8 people and 12 circular tables, each seating 8, stored in the main storage room at the back of the hall.

Capacities
  • Cafe Style: 100
  • Theatre style: 150 seated in rows, 14 rows of 15 allowing for a central aisle and top presentation area.
  • Dances: 100,  allowing for an 8m x 4m dance floor area and round tables.
  • Legal limits: 180  in the main hall. 

Catering Facilities
  • Use of the kitchen for teas and coffees is included in the room rent
  • There are serving hatches connecting the Main Hall and Meeting Room to the Kitchen.

Meeting Room

A versatile meeting room suitable for small conferences, business meetings, and consulting. It has direct access from the foyer, a serving hatch to the kitchen, free Wi-Fi, projector facilities, 20 upholstered chairs and four rectangular tables.

Whole Venue

Capacity: 190 people
Pricing: Variable pricing

The Whole Venue offers exclusive use of the Main Hall, Meeting Room, kitchen/bar and outdoor patio, making it ideal for weddings, parties and larger events. Guests benefit from a spacious hall with stage area, oak sprung floor, sound and projection system, hearing loop, free Wi-Fi, EtherCon points and direct access to the patio with garden furniture and countryside views. The Meeting Room provides an additional space for dining, breakout sessions or catering, with a serving hatch to the kitchen. Chairs, tables and ancillary facilities are included, offering a flexible and fully equipped setting for any occasion.
